Project DASH
Helping Bridge the Gap for Families in Need
At United Way of the CSRA, we believe access to basic necessities should never be out of reach. That’s why, in partnership with DoorDash and Golden Harvest Food Bank, we’re proud to offer Project DASH—a vital program designed to support individuals and families facing food insecurity and transportation challenges.
What We Do
Project DASH connects local food pantries and nonprofit organizations with neighbors in need by delivering essential items directly to their doorsteps. From nutritious food to hygiene products and everyday household necessities, we’re making it easier for people to access the support they deserve—without the added burden of transportation.
How It Works
Deliveries are currently available within a 10-mile radius of our Broad Street distribution site in Augusta. As the program grows, we are actively working to expand delivery locations and reach even more members of our community.
Who We Serve
This service is completely free for individuals who are unable to access essential items on their own, including:
- New mothers
- Homebound seniors
- Individuals with disabilities
- Families facing transportation barriers
