January
MLK Day of Service
Honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. by giving back through volunteering and collecting essential items to support local nonprofits. Collection period is November – January, with proceeds dropped off at our partnering agency on MLK Day.
January - April
VITA: Volunteer Income Tax Assistance
Support individuals and families by helping them access free tax preparation services, ensuring they receive the refunds and credits they deserve.
A community-wide day of service that mobilizes volunteers to complete hands-on projects benefiting local organizations in the CSRA. Groups of all sizes and skill sets are welcome!
October – January
Blankets for the Homeless
Donate blankets and fleece to help keep individuals experiencing homelessness warm during the colder months.
December
Empty Stocking
Help spread holiday cheer by organizing and distributing gifts to families in need.
Year-round opportunities
Notes of Encouragement
Share kindness and positivity by writing uplifting notes that are distributed to individuals facing challenging circumstances throughout the year.
Operation Seats and Feet
Help provide children with new shoes and socks, supporting their health, confidence, and readiness to succeed in school.
Pack a Snack
Help provide children with nutritious snacks when they are away from school.
